The weekend outlook & a peek at next week
A rather soggy week should give way to a little more sunshine for the weekend. But, there could still be some scattered showers and storms at times. The passage of a cool front on Sunday should provide some nicer weather next week and a lot less humid.
HOT & MUGGY SATURDAY
Saturday should be about the same as the past few days, very muggy. A mix of clouds and sun with afternoon highs in the upper 80s to even around 90 in some spots. The local coverage of t-showers on Saturday is mainly going to be the "pop up" variety. Mainly during the afternoon and early evening hours. Not the all day variety of shower, but could interrupt some of your outdoor plans.
COOL FRONT SUNDAY
A cool front should move through Sunday Afternoon. This could provide our viewing area with a better coverage of showers and t-showers, especially during the afternoon. Temperatures before t-showers arrive should reach the mid/upper 80s. Once the front passes, much drier air moves in and it should feel much more comfortable through Sunday Evening and Night.
HEAT AND HUMIDITY RELIEF TO START NEXT WEEK
As mentioned above, drier air should settle in through Monday. A very comfortable morning in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Then, sunny and low humidity through Monday afternoon with temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to lower 80s. A very similar weather pattern through Wednesday. So, a nice break from the mugginess that had been around for much of the month of May.
Very little if any rain through mid week, but some mainly afternoon showers could return by next Friday.
