A sunny start to the weekend, but a rainy end

Saturday Afternoon Temperatures

Beautiful weather can be expected as we head into the weekend. But, by Sunday, rain should start moving back in

Chilly again Friday Night with an overnight ranging from around 40 in the city to mid/upper 30s away from the city.

A nice day Saturday to start the weekend! A chilly start, but another quick warm up through the afternoon. Sunny to partly sunny with afternoon highs ranging from the upper 60s to lower 70s.

A low pressure system should move from the lower Mississippi Valley and across the Gulf Coast from Sunday through Monday. This should bring some rain back to our viewing area starting Sunday. Timing could still vary a bit, but it appears that some light rain could arrive Sunday Morning, then increase in coverage Sunday Afternoon and Evening. Periods of rain should continue through Sunday Night and into Monday. Rainfall could be around 1.50" Sunday through Monday. Light rain could linger through Tuesday and even Wednesday. The rainfall amounts for Tuesday and Wednesday should be lighter.

No severe weather is expected at this time from this storm system.

High temperatures through next week should be just a tad below average with daily highs in the mid 60s and morning lows from the upper 40s to lower 50.

As always, you can depend on the StormTrack 9 Team for updates!
