Humid days with scattered t-showers to continue

A very repetitive weather pattern should continue into the upcoming weekend.

Friday should again have a cloudy start along with some patchy fog. Then, a mix of clouds and sun. Scattered thundershowers should again be possible at any given time, but most numerous during the afternoon hours. The risk of severe storms remains low with the main threats for now being heavy downpours and frequent lightning. There could still be some lingering t-showers during the evening which could affect some of the high school football jamborees.

For Saturday, a weakening cool front should move through. This should again allow for the development of mainly afternoon showers and thundershowers. Otherwise, a mix of clouds and sun and very humid with afternoon temperatures in the mid/upper 80s. The Heat Index though around 90.

Sunday should be very similar to Saturday. But, some slightly drier air could possibly lead to fewer afternoon t-showers. I'll keep a slight chance for now, but otherwise partly sunny with upper 80s.

No change to this weather pattern just yet as afternoon scattered t-showers are again possible for Monday and Tuesday.

As always you can depend on the StormTrack 9 Team for updates!
