Sierra Waggoner joined the NewsChannel 9 team July of 2022!

She is the Host of The Daily Refresh (watch her and Josh at 10:00 Monday-Friday)

Sierra is proud to be from Chapel Hill, Tennessee which is home of the Rockets, iconic Tractor Pull, and two stoplights. For people who don’t know where her little town is she normally “just rounds up” and says around the Nashville Area.

She graduated from Freed Hardeman University, then went immediately to Northeast Arkansas News where she stayed for three years as a TV Host for lifestyle, entertainment and sports within the community.

Her goal when you watch the show is that you feel the joy she feels to be bringing you The Daily Refresh all while you learn something brand new about a business or their team.

She aims to make each viewer and guest in studio feel like they’ve been friends forever.

When Sierra isn’t bringing the Daily Refresh to your living rooms you can find her doing all her favorite things.

She enjoys concerts, traveling, fashion, trying new foods ( she will literally eat anything), church, reading, dancing, shopping for the latest Nike sneaker, being on the water (lake, ocean, river, even a kiddie pool if needed!) and mostly spending time with her Nephew J.J.

Sierra loves the area because of the people, activities and atmosphere!
