Josh Robinson

Josh Robinson wants to say "Hey y’all!" Josh grew up in Collierville, Tenn., with his parents, three little sisters and several dogs throughout the years. He graduated from Collierville High School, "Go Dragons!", and then went to Harding University where he majored in Broadcast Journalism.

Josh worked at WBBJ in Jackson, Tenn., as a co-anchor for Good Morning West Tennessee and was an MMJ. After three years of very early mornings, he wanted to grow his skills behind the camera. So, he worked for Bramblett Group, a PR and Marketing firm, as a videographer/editor.

Most recently, Josh had the opportunity to tour the country with the musical "Hamilton" as a COVID-19 Safety Manager. He got to see Yosemite National Park, go to Disneyland with his boyfriend a few times and they drove from stop to stop. They got very good at "fast pit stops at gas stations!"

Now, Josh is excited to be joining The Daily Refresh team here in Chattanooga! He wanted to come to Chattanooga because he heard amazing things about all of the outdoor activities, it’s closer to his family and he really want to dig into the stories that haven’t been told yet here in East Tennessee and surrounding areas!

Josh says "I’m always on the hunt for the best chicken fingers anywhere I go and one of my favorite activities is an escape room! And, I love live theater! I want to be there singing along, crying, laughing and giving the biggest standing ovation at the end."
