Abbey Walton

Abbey Walton joined the WTVC News Channel 9 team in January of 2023 as a multimedia journalist.

She graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in sports management.

Abbey grew up in Kennesaw, Georgia, but has also lived in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New York.

The Volunteer State is new to Abbey, but she says she can't wait to explore the all the natural beauties Tennessee has to offer.

When Abbey is not working, she's exploring, skiing, taking long walks, trying out new restaurants and hanging out at local coffee shops.

Abbey says she cannot wait to get involved and meet people in the Chattanooga community.
