Baylor Asst. Football Coach Passes Away
The Baylor School is mourning the loss of assistant football coach Tim Daniels, who passed away suddenly Thursday night.
Daniels spent the past several years as an assistant under Red Raiders head coach Phil Massey. Massey said Thursday night that Daniels "completed his staff." And the Raiders would not have had their recent success "without the contributions of Tim Daniels."
Before Baylor, Daniels was the coach who replaced Tom Weathers at Red Bank. He came to Red Bank from Loudon.
Daniels was an offensive lineman with the Vols, playing under head coach Johnny Majors.
Daniels was 58 years old.
