Dispelling rumors of a relocation to the University of Tennessee, Mike Gundy tweeted his support for Oklahoma State University football.

Sources told insider Brett McMurphy that Gundy passed up a six year, $42 million deal from the Vols.

Earlier on Tuesday, ESPN reported Gundy and John Currie met 'for several hours' to gauge Gundy's interest in coaching Tennessee's football team on Tuesday. According to ESPN, Gundy met with Tennessee officials back in 2013 when the Volunteers hired Butch Jones.

Other potential candidates:

Matt Campbell: The Iowa State head coach is still in the mix - though there has been some talk his buyout is too much.

Tee Martin: The Southern Cal offensive coordinator has strong ties to Knoxville after leading the Vols to the 1998 National Championship.

Jim Bob Cooter: The former Vol has developed a nice resume in the NFL and is currently the Detroit Lions offensive coordinator.

Les Miles: The former LSU head coach is currently working as an analyst for the SEC Network.
