The Chattanooga Mocs could not capitalize on a halftime lead, falling 20-14 to The Citadel Saturday afternoon at Finley Stadium.

The Mocs (1-7) found a running game, which has been missing all season, but turnovers proved to be a problem once again.

Darrell Bridges, who starred at Ridgeland High School in his prep days, finished with 149 yards and two touchdowns.

True freshman Cole Copeland, who starred for the Bradley Central Bears just last season, threw for 155 yards, but also had three interceptions.

The Mocs clung to a 14-7 halftime lead, but couldn't score again.

They face a ranked Samford team on the road next Saturday.
