ESPN: Source says former LSU coach Les Miles "very interested" in leading the Vols

ESPN reports that the newest person interested in leading the Vols is former LSU and Oklahoma State coach Les Miles, according to a source close to Miles and who has discussed the position with him recently.

The report states that Miles has not yet had any contact with Tennessee officials, but is interested in discussing the position.

Miles was fired from LSU in September 2016 after he went 114-34 (62-28 in SEC play) at the university.

ESPN also reports that Tennessee is considering Kevin Sumlin for the position. Sumlin was fired by Texas A&M on November 21st after six winning seasons.

Several coaches are reported to have turned down the position, including NC state's Dave Doeren, Purdue coach Jeff Brohm, and OSU coach Mike Gundy
