OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) - Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agents made a surprising discovery Thursday when making a stop along Interstate 40.

OBN Public Information Officer Mark Woodward says the OBN K9 Interdiction unit working Thursday morning along I-40 in western Oklahoma pulled over a vehicle.

When the agents approached the driver they discovered he was wearing tiger costume. Despite the costume, Woodward says the agents realized the man was acting unusual.

After a search of the man's vehicle, the agents found a small amount of marijuana. Woodward says when agents asked the man about his costume he told them he "wanted to travel across Oklahoma comfortably".

"Agents can run into all kinds of individuals out there. Not too long ago a driver pulled a gun from his waistband on an agent and started a high speed pursuit," Woodward said.

Woodward says the man is from California. He will likely face a misdemeanor charge.
