Fox News host says he hasn't washed his hands in 10 years
(KUTV) -- If you ever meet Fox News host Pete Hegseth, you may want to avoid shaking his hand.
That's because Hegseth revealed on air Sunday that he hasn't washed his hands in a decade.
“My 2019 resolution is to say things on air that I say off air. I don’t think I’ve washed my hands for 10 years. Really, I don’t really wash my hands ever,” Hegseth said.
His co-hosts Ed Henry and Jedediah Bila laughed at his revelation to which Hegseth followed, “I inoculate myself. Germs are not a real thing. I can’t see them. Therefore they’re not real."
“So you’re becoming immune to all of the bacteria,” Bila responded. “My dad has that theory too.”
Hegseth shared a #DontWash hashtag on Twitter following the social media response to his claim.
The social media response was swift and cutting from many, while others thought he must be joking.
Hegseth later tweeted that he supports drinking from garden hoses and riding bikes without a helmet.
