Celebrate this Easter by snorkeling with Jesus in the Florida Keys

KEY LARGO, Fla. (SBG) - If you want to celebrate Easter in a unique way this year, then snorkeling with a statue of Jesus underwater in the Florida Keys may be the thing for you.

USA Today reports the Christ of the Deep statue can be found about 25 feet underwater at the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Florida and snorkeling enthusiasts can enjoy its beauty this Easter.

According to a website for the Florida Keys, the bronze statue is a replica of a Christ of the Deep statue that is located off the coast of Italy and was designed by Italian sculptor Guido Galletti.

The replica is 9 feet tall and weighs 4,000 pounds.
