DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A 9-year-old boy known as "Donut Boy" is on a quest to thank every police officer in the United States. On Tuesday, he stopped by Fifth-Third Field to thank officers here in the Miami Valley.

Tyler Carach lives in Florida and during a trip to a local convenience store in August 2016, he and his mother met four sheriff's deputies from Escambia, Florida. Tyler told his mom he wanted to buy the deputies coffee and donuts with his own money and she told him to go ahead and do it. The deputies were very gracious and Tyler decided he wanted to do more. Since giving those deputies donuts, Tyler has given away more than 6,000 donuts in several states. He's also appeared on the "Steve Harvey Show."

During his trip to the Miami Valley Tuesday morning, Tyler met with representatives from Centerville, Dayton, Montgomery County and Kettering police departments.
