Dalton Police have issued warrants for the arrest of a woman formerly married to the owner of Kinder Dog Training in Cleveland.

Morgan Kinder faces six counts of aggravated animal cruelty and 16 counts of animal cruelty. Morgan was the wife of Stephen Kinder.

Earlier this month, Dalton Police served a search warrant at the home of Morgan and Stephen, and say they found dozens of animals in poor condition and suffering from neglect. Police say Stephen, who was facing animal cruelty charges of his own, took his own life after the search.

According to Dalton Police, the six counts of aggravated cruelty to animals were for five snakes and a lizard, all found dead at the home, according to police.

The 16 counts of animal cruelty were for dogs found on the property.

Dalton Police say they have made contact with Morgan through her lawyer, but have not yet arrested her.

This is a developing story - depend on us to update you as we learn more.
