The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department says it arrested two juveniles on Monday in two separate incidents that involved two schools.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris says the incidents happened at Fyffe School and Crossville Middle School.

The first incident at Fyffe School happened Monday morning, when the DeKalb County Sheriff's School Resource Officer was called to a possible burglary at the school.

Authorities say the SRO arrived to see vandalized classrooms with graffiti on the boards, and a broken window in one classroom.

Sheriff Harris says Fyffe School had security cameras set up and they were able to catch the juvenile that had vandalized the classrooms.

Harris says officers arrested the juvenile Tuesday and then referred to the Juvenile Probation Office.

Meanwhile, and also on Monday, at Crossville Middle School, Sheriff Harris says a student brought a BB pistol into the classroom and was later arrested. The principal and the SRO were contacted about the incident and officers detained the unidentified student, later taking him to the Coosa Valley Detention Center.
