Over the weekend, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam issues an executive order geared towards the protection, health and safety of Hurricane Irma evacuees.

Executive Order 66, issued Saturday suspends the following the state rules to allow medical practitioners licensed in other states to practice in Tennessee to provide aid to Hurricane Irma evacuees.

It would also allow pharmacists to give out a 14-day supply of prescription medications to evacuees and it would also allow non-Tennessee residents to participate in the TN Dept. of Health programs for women, infants and children.
