Suspect arrested 11-months after CARTA driver attacked with chemicals
Almost a year later, Chattanooga Police say a suspect has been arrested,
CPD says 30-year-old Maja Madesha Garcia-Thompson was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment on August 9th, 2018.
Back in September, police say a woman had just gotten out of her car at the CARTA building when Garcia-Thompson threw a burning substance on her face, then ran away.
The substance hit four other people, who all had to be treated.
CFD hazmat tested the substance and determined it was not life threatening.
