Sunday morning crash on Ringgold Road injures one
The East Ridge Fire Department Battalion Chief, Randy Albright, said a vehicle was traveling westbound on Ringgold Road Sunday morning when it lost control for an unknown reason.
The car then hit a light pole, snapping the light pole dragging down wires with it.
After several attempts, the tow truck company sent to the scene, was able to maneuver the car back on its wheels to then load in the back of the tow truck.
Albright says Ringgold Road will be shut down for two more hours while the power company makes repairs.
According to a press release sent out Sunday afternoon, the driver of the car is identified as Tristan Garrett, who was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital with no life threatening injuries.
