Small fire causes damage at Silverdale Baptist Academy

Chattanooga firefighters responded to a fire alarm around 4:30 a.m. Friday at Silverdale Baptist Academy at 7236 Bonny Oaks Drive.

Lt. Joe Ervin with Quint 7 said the firefighters located the fire in a utility room.

Fortunately, the sprinkler system activated and completely put out the fire. No one was hurt. Water from the sprinkler heads was still flowing until the firefighters were able to shut it off.
