Semi carrying 34,000 pounds of auto parts overturns in Wilson County

UPDATE: The on-ramp remains blocked Sunday afternoon for clean-up from an overturned tractor trailer. The accident scene cleared at around 4:15 p.m.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--An overturned semi hauling auto parts is blocking the right lane of I-40 West in Wilson County near Lebanon.

The crash took place overnight Sunday and is not expected to clear until late Sunday morning.

Wilson County EMA reports to expect I-40 West and Hartmann Ramp closures Sunday morning as crews work to first roll the semi upright then unload 34,000 pounds of auto parts off the trailer.
