The Rossville Police Department hopes you can help investigators locate a man they say is wanted on several charges of aggravated sodomy.

Detective Captain David L. Scroggins says 29-year-old Johnny Ray Robinson is wanted for assaulting at least two women, and says police suspect he has other victims.

Scroggins says Robinson "has reportedly drugged his victims to the point of unconsciousness before the assaults." Detective Scroggins says they have video evidence of Robinson assaulting the women.

The crimes Robinson is accused of committing bring back unwanted memories for Rebecca Pilgrim.

"My thoughts are sad because I have been attacked before is for the police to have the freedom to do their job and for him to be locked up," she says.

She says knowing someone who is capable of hurting women could be on these streets leaves her feeling uneasy: "It has a longtime traumatic effect," she says.

Detective Scroggins says there's a good reason for that. He says Robinson recorded himself sexually assaulting the women on their cell phones. He says neither were aware their bodies were being violated.

Robinson is also wanted on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and theft by receiving property stolen in another state. The warrants were issued Wednesday, and are on file with the Walker County Sheriff's Office.

Detective Scroggins says investigators believe Robinson is in the Chattanooga or Soddy-Daisy area. He says Robinson is a felon with an extensive criminal history, and is known to carry a firearm.
