Riverbend Headliner Luke Combs cancels performance through tweet
Riverbend Festival announced Saturday night Brett Young will replace Luke Combs on the Coca Cola stage at 9:30 P.M. Sunday June 10.
Combs cancelled his performance Saturday afternoon.
In a tweet, the singer said he'd lost his voice at CMA Fest in Nashville and would not be able to give fans "the show you paid for and deserve."
Spokesperson for the Festival, Amy Morrow, wished Combs "a sound and swift recovery and hope to have him headlining the Coke Stage in the near future."
Morrow says "fans flooded the Bud Light Stage in 2017 to see Young perform."
If you purchased a ticket for Starview Landing, reserved Star Seats and Fan Stands to see Luke Combs perform, your ticket is still valid for Young's performance.
"Friends of the Festival will also offer, for any Starview Landing, Star seating, or Fan Stands ticket for June 10th, 50% off Starview Landing for the Dustin Lynch performance on June 13th," Morrow said.
If you'd like a refund for your June 10th ticket, you can email your request and proof of purchase to email@example.com.
In a Saturday evening tweet, Luke Combs told his fans he would not be able to perform this weekend or next after losing his voice at CMA Fest in Nashville.
Combs was supposed to perform Sunday night at 9:30 on the Coca Cola stage.
Chip Baker with Friends of the Festival told NewsChannel 9, "things do happen...we're working on a replacement."
Baker says they are talking to "all agencies out there" and expect to have an announcement of who it will be Saturday night.
Baker says if someone would like a refund, they will grant one if you email a copy of your order.
Baker did say that concert goers who keep their ticket for Combs' replacement will get the chance to buy a ticket to Dustin Lynch 50% off.
