Retired bus driver sues Grundy Co. Director of Schools, school board
GRUNDY COUNTY, Tenn. —
A retired school bus driver is suing the Grundy County Director of Schools and the individual members of the school board.
In a lawsuit, Terri Tate claims the school board approved bonuses for each bus driver on August 10th, 2017.
Tate retired five days after the bonuses were approved.
She claims she was never paid.
In the lawsuit, Tate is asking for what she says she was owed from the bonus: $2,000.
She's also asking for $100,000 in attorneys fees and punitive damages.
