Nearly a month after filing for bankruptcy, Sears has announced it will soon close more of its stores, including its location at Northgate Mall.

A CBL Properties spokesperson confirmed the news with NewsChannel 9 Thursday evening.

Northgate Mall's store is one of 29 Sears and 11 Kmart locations that will close in February 2019, Sears announced Thursday.

Last month, Business Insider reported the Sears at Hamilton Place Mall will also be closing up shop by the end of 2018.

Nearly 200 Sears and Kmart locations will be shut down in the next few months, according to CNN.

Sears has been around for 132 years, and has had financial issues and major debts over the past few years.

Sears was unable to pay a $134 million debt payment, which was due October 15th.

The company has more than 500 Sears locations, plus another 360 Kmart stores.
