One injured in Chattanooga house fire, officials investigating

The Red Bank Fire Department (Red Bank FD) responded to a call reporting a residential fire at 133 Flora Circle at 6:30 Saturday evening.

The Red Bank FD arrived on the scene and reported heavy smoke and fire on the back of the residence.

Officials made an immediate request for mutual aid response for additional manpower.

Officials confirm the Signal Mountain Fire Department, the Chattanooga Fire Department, and the Dallas Bay Fire Department responded to the scene.

Hamilton County Marine Rescue responded to possible rehab needs.

Red Bank fire officials reported firefighters had to conduct a defensive attack from the house being fully involved with fire.

Officials confirm the homeowner was transported by HCEMS from the scene.

Her injuries are currently unknown.

The cause and damages from the fire are unknown, and an investigation will be conducted by the Red Bank FD.
