Progress on East Ridge Football stadium

East Ridge High School is getting closer to having a new stadium.

NewsChannel 9 paid a visit to Raymond James Stadium Thursday to check on the progress of the construction.

The metal bleachers on the home side are now up.

This season, East Ridge fans were forced to sit on the visitor's side with the opposing team's fans.

The bleachers were condemned late last year and later demolished.

NewsChannel 9 reported in August the repairs were expected to complete by the middle of October.

We have not heard how close construction is to being completed.
