Previous police report suggests teacher in Dalton HS gun incident was "delusional"
Dalton Police have released incident reports involving Dalton High School teacher Jesse Randal Davidson, who was arrested Wednesday after a gun incident.
The police report says that in March 2016, Jesse Randal Davidson wanted to confess to police that he was involved in a murder of a woman with whom he had previously had an internet affair.
In the report, Davidson told police that two friends may have killed the woman.
Davidson didn't identify the friends, and police called his description as vague, and said they were unable to verify that the woman even existed.
Davidson told police that he had just been released from the hospital that day.
The report also reads that Davidson talked about hurting himself while talking to police. He was then taken to the hospital.
In separate report from January 2017, Davidson was reported missing from the school after having told his supervisor that he was not feeling well.
Later that day around 5 p.m., school staff called police after finding Davidson on School Street.
When police and EMS arrived, they found Davidson sitting on the curb and being held up by two school staff members.
In the report, police say that though Davidson was conscious, they were not able to get any response from him.
Davidson was taken to the Hamilton Medical Center. The report says he has a history of medical problems.
