Pop up Street Store for Homeless
Homeless in Chattanooga got to take advantage of a pop up Street Store, on Monday.
Southern Adventist University and the Salvation Army hosted the Street Store in downtown Chattanooga today.
The store gave homeless the chance to shop for clothes and try them on all free of charge.
Volunteers say it offers the people a dignified shopping experience
Carolita Claus says "Everyone that's coming through here is a person. They have their own story. And I feel like they deserve to find the best clothing and the best fit they can, and were here to just hear their story and help them out in whatever way we can."
Hot drinks and lunches were also served to shoppers.
