The Tennessee Highway Patrol says at about 4 a.m., officers responded to a report of an overturned tractor trailer with entrapment.

Firefighters were able to free the driver from the vehicle, and he was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The truck was carrying a paint thinner solvent, but luckily nothing leaked out.

An overturned tractor trailer closed part of Interstate 24 early Thursday morning.

The crash blocked all lanes for a brief time. As of 5:45 a.m., one lane was open, and crews estimate the interstate will completely reopen by 9:30 a.m.
