Mobile home burns in Harrison, firefighters still unclear if there are victims
The Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department put out a mobile home fire Thursday night.
The fire happened at 6326 Massengale Hollow Road at around 11 pm.
Since the home was half a mile away from the main road, officials say they had to lay over 1,000 feet of hose line in order to get to the fire.
No one was hurt at the fire scene, but as of Friday morning, investigators are still unclear if any victims were inside the house during the fire.
Fire officials say there were vehicles on the property, but could not go in to investigate due to the unsafe structure of the burning home.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office will return to the scene Friday to search for victims in the rubble.
The cause of the fire is unknown and will be under investigation at this time.
