Family: Husband, wife recovering after being hit while trick-or-treating with children

UPDATE (Thursday):

Family members have identified the two people hit in Lakeview, Georgia Wednesday night and are providing new details on the couple's condition.

The family of Racheal and Dustin Allen say the two were out trick-or-treating with their two children, ages 9 and 7, when the crash happened.

According to the family, Racheal has a broken collar bone, and both she and Dustin have several lacerations and bruises. Both of the children are okay.

As of Thursday evening, the two are out of the hospital and at home recovering.

Georgia State Patrol said Wednesday night that the driver responsible faces charges in this case.

PREVIOUSLY:

The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) says a woman faces charges after hitting two people who were walking with children in Lakeview Halloween night.

It happened on Castleberry Road.

The GSP says the driver of a Honda Accord went off road on Castleberry Road and hit a man and woman.

According to the GSP, the man is stable, but the woman is in serious condition. The two children were not hit.

The woman driving now faces charges in the incident.

We do not yet know the identity of those involved, or whether the adults are related to the children.
