A spokesperson for Hamilton County Emergency Services says a 17-year-old girl was pulled from the water on Saturday afternoon after a rope swing accident.

The Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department says several teenagers were cliff jumping and swinging from a rope at Denny's point.

Amy Maxwell with Hamilton County Emergency Services says a 911 call came in just after 2 PM with someone reporting the 17-year-old went unconscious after plunging into the water from the rope swing.

Witnesses told rescue personnel several people jumped into the water and pulled the teenager onto a boat.

They took her to the Shady Grove Marina across the river where the Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department was waiting for her.

Maxwell says HCEMS took the teen to Children's Hospital at Erlanger for treatment.

No word on her current condition.

We'll update this story as soon as we learn more.
