Fire investigators in Marion County are working to determine what caused a fire at the old South Pittsburg Knitting Mill early Monday morning.

Firefighters tell us the commercial structure was not in use, except for storage. It's located at 212 East First Street.

Jordan Blake with the South Pittsburg Fire Department shared photos and information with NewsChannel 9.

He says the call went out around midnight, and that South Pittsburg, Kimball, and Jasper Fire Departments all responded to help get the fire under control.

Right now we are working to get more details, including how much damage the fire caused, and what investigators say caused it.
