Trenton-Dade — Firefighters battle a "fully involved" 18-wheeler trailer fire early Sunday morning.
Crews say it happened at 5:30 a.m. at the Rising Fawn I-59 off-ramp.
South Dade Fire and Rescue and Trenton-Dade County Fire responded to the scene and brought the fire under control.
Once the area was safe, Trenton-Dade Explorers got to step in and help with hot spots and filling the engines up with water.
Trenton-Dade Explorers is a program for kids ages 13-21. The program allows the kids to get an inside look at what firefighters do on the job.
