The Chattanooga Fire Department held its annual Fire Prevention Week awards program Monday at the Chattanooga Public Library downtown.

Fire Marshal Beau Matlock and Assistant Fire Marshal Chuck Hartung announced the winners of the fire safety poster contest. The winning posters were the ones that best illustrated this year’s fire safety theme, “Look. Listen. Learn. Be aware -- fire can happen anywhere."
