Fire damages home and RV in Hamilton County

An early morning RV Fire caused an estimated $17,000 in damages (photo WTVC).

Several fire crews responded to an R-V fire Wednesday morning in Hamilton County.

The Tri-Community Volunteer fire departments says the fire happened on Kessler Lane around 7 this morning.

A neighbor told the owner of the R-V that it was on fire.

No one was injured in the fire, but the R-V is considered a total loss. The RV was parked next to the owners home, which also sustained heat damage.

No injures were reported in the fire. Damages to the RV is estimates at $12,000 and $5,000 to the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but fire officials reported the RV was hooked up to a battery charger.
