UPDATE (Sunday, 5:07 PM):

Hamilton County Emergency Management confirms the home owners noticed their back porch was on fire and called 911 around 1:55 PM Sunday afternoon.

The whole family got out of the house safely, but Hamilton County Emergency Services remained on scene in case any firefighters were injured.

Hamilton County Emergency Management spokeswoman Amy Maxwell says windy conditions caused the fire to spread quickly and completely consume the home.

According to Maxwell, it took crews two hours to completely put out the flames.

Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) Chief Steve Wright reports the house is a total loss and values damage costs at $360,000.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
