The father of a 2-week-old infant found dead near Atlanta has been charged with murder.
That's according to WSB-TV.
Search crews said they found the body of Caliyah McNabb in the woods Sunday in a duffel bag.
The Newton County sheriff said the child's father, Chris McNabb, jumped out of a car and ran away Sunday afternoon after Caliyah's body was found.
He was found several hours later after someone recognized him at a convenience store.
An autopsy report released Tuesday says the 2-week-old died of blunt force trauma.
Christopher McNabb was charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery and concealing a death.
