Child taken to hospital after being hurt by falling tree in Red Bank Tuesday

RED BANK, Tenn. — The Red Bank Fire Department says a child was hurt after being hit by a tree Tuesday afternoon.

It happened on High Top Road.

According to officials, a 6-year-old was in a hammock in the woods behind the house when the tree fell. The child's relatives were able to pull the tree off.
