Update: CPD arrests second suspect in deadly shooting on South Street
The Chattanooga Police Department arrested a suspect on murder charges related to a deadly shooting in the 3200 block of South Street.
Police say 25-year-old Marquise Burress was arrested on outstanding warrants for First Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm during a Dangerous Felony.
They say he will be transported and booked into the Hamilton County Jail.

According to a release, Javonte J. Wynn is charged with First Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm during a Dangerous Felony.
The investigation is ongoing
UPDATE (Wednesday evening):
Chattanooga Police have identified a 29-year-old man they say was shot & killed on South Street Wednesday morning.
According to CPD spokesman Trevor Tomas, officers arrived to find Robert Gill dead from several gunshot wounds.
CPD's Violent Crimes Bureau is still actively investigating this incident.

PREVIOUSLY (Wednesday morning):
Chattanooga Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed early Wednesday morning.
CPD spokesman Trevor Tomas says the shooting happened a little after 6 a.m. at a home on the 3200 block of South Street.
Tomas says when officers arrived, they found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Investigators remain on the scene getting more details.
Tomas says CPD will release more information about this incident later on Wednesday.
