Chattanooga man charged with raping, impregnating teenage girl
A Chattanooga man now faces charges of child rape following an investigation since June of 2016.
According to an arrest affidavit, the victim believed her boyfriend was the father of her child. After a paternity test, it turned out not to be the case.
The document goes on to say the victim then told someone close to her about being raped by Floyd King and that he could be the father of her child.
After the investigator took out DNA warrants for King, the document says they were able to confirm through testing that he was in fact the father of a teenage girl's child.
King is due in court on April 30th.
