Chattanooga Firefighters set house on fire after completing cadet training exercises
Firefighters are known for battling blazes and putting out fires. But sometimes they start them too.
A donated home in Lookout Valley was burned to the ground and after the Chattanooga Fire Department used it for training exercises, for the Fire Academy 2018.
The home was donated by Lookout Valley Baptist Church and located at Myrtle Ave.
Now, the 23 recruits for the 2018 year will move on to vehicle extrication and hazardous material exercises.
