Chattanooga construction company teams with Habitat for Humanity for family
A Chattanooga construction company is partnering with Habitat for Humanities to build a home for a family in need.
The sounds of hammers and saws filled the air Tuesday as crews from Pratt Homes Builders went to work on the Borngne family's home.
According to a spokesperson for Pratt Homes, the house is being built to meet the specific needs of the Borngne's child who lives with cerebral palsy.
The custom features include wider doors and hallways as well as a roll-in shower.
The spokesperson says this project was a perfect opportunity to give back to the community.
Crews plan to have the home finished as early as Friday.
