Bank robber sought in Chattanooga who changed appearance after robbery

The Chattanooga Police Department wants your help identifying a suspect involved in a bank robbery that happened on Monday at BB&T Bank, at 2120 Gunbarrel Road.

Police say the man entered the business, demanded money from a teller, and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators determined after the suspect left the bank, he altered his appearance by shaving his facial hair and changing his clothes.

Surveillance cameras show the suspect during the robbery and soon after the robbery.

During the robbery, the suspect had a beard and was wearing a long-sleeve blue pullover shirt, blue camouflage pants, black baseball cap, sunglasses, and white shoes.

Soon after the robbery, the suspect did not have a beard and was wearing a short-sleeve white shirt and light blue shorts.

The suspect has tattoos on his arms and chest, approximately 5'10" in height, and weighs 160 - 170 pounds.
