NewsChannel 9 had team coverage of the search in Bradley County Friday afternoon: what Yazmin Medina says happened to her, how the community pitched in to help authorities in the search, and her safe return.

(3:00 p.m.) Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland says the missing 10-year-old girl from the Amber Alert has been treated and released from the hospital.

Yazmin Medina has returned home safely.

NewsChannel 9's Hannah Lawrence spoke with the girl, who said she got lost in the woods Thursday night while looking for keys.

The TBI announced Medina was found safe near where she went missing last night.

Police say she was found in a nearby creek. She suffered a few scratches, but otherwise appears to be okay, according to Cleveland Police Department Spokeswoman Evie West. West says she was taken to Tennova hospital to be checked out.
