2 people flown in helicopter to hospital in Clay County after break in

Clay County Sheriff Davis says that Clay County Sheriff's Deputies responded to George Sorrels Road in Hayesville, in reference to a disturbance call on April 23, 2016.

TheDeputies say when they arrived at the house they saw a woman with cuts to her body and was bleeding heavily.

Sheriff Davis says a man had cuts to his hand.

Both where flown out by helicopter to a hospital to have their injuries treated.

Sheriff Davis says investigators have charged Alejandro Huerta Aguilar with Felony B&E, Felony theft of a Firearm, and two counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.

He is currently being held at the Clay county Detention Center under a $200,000 dollar secured bond.

His next court date is May 9.

This incident is still under investigation.
