UPDATE (Friday night):

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has identified one of the students arrested after a fight at Central High School Friday afternoon.

The HCSO says 18-year-old Joshua Maddox was taken to Hamilton County Jail, where he faces charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest or obstruction of legal process.

The sheriff's office says a total of four students were arrested in the incident. Hamilton County Schools says a parent was also involved.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Several students were taken to a juvenile detention center after a fight broke out around dismissal time at Central High School in Chattanooga Friday.

The School Resource Officer called on deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office to respond to the fight.

The HCSO says the fight involved several students.

Hamilton County School spokesperson Tim Hensley says at least one parent got involved, and that pepper spray was used on them.

The HCSO says no one was seriously hurt.

Four students were taken into custody for disorderly conduct. Deputies say more charges may be pending for several other students as deputies review surveillance footage.
