National Commander of The American Legion visits north Georgia
The National Commander of The American Legion, Mr. Brett P. Reistad, spent his day on Monday visiting posts across North Georgia.
We spoke to him at a lunch at American Legion Battlefield Post 214 , Rossville, Georgia.
We asked him as he travels the country talking to veterans what do they tell him they are concerned about the most. Here is part of what he had to say.
"I do hear a lot about Agent Orange because I have people that will tell me they served in different places where Agent Orange was sprayed and they're being totally ignored," Mr. Reistad said.
We were told this is the first visit to this post from the sitting National Commander in almost 40 years.
We will have much more of this interview coming soon on The Price of Freedom.
