SHOWERS THROUGH WEDNESDAY
The remnant low of Irma should continue drifting north out of west Tennessee and then northeast into the Ohio Valley. This should still push some off and on showers our way for Wednesday. But, these amounts should be light compared to the downpours we had Monday Night. A few showers could still occur Thursday, but far less in coverage that Wednesday. As the air dries out through Friday, we should eventually get more sunshine that continues into the weekend.
WARMING TREND THROUGH THE WEEKEND
The upcoming weekend is the last official full weekend of Summer. And, temperatures should respond and feel more seasonable. By Friday, the mix of sun and clouds should result in afternoon temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to lower 80s. Over the weekend, the partly sunny sky cover should continue with afternoon highs averaging in the mid 80s. Just a slight chance for a late day shower Saturday and Sunday. The 80s should stick around for the start of next week.
So, even though it has felt like October and November lately, we are not quite finished with Summer just yet!
As always, you can depend on the StormTrack 9 Team for updates!
